Infrastructure

DNS signals for nameservers, mail, and web hosting.

The Infrastructure section summarizes what your zone reveals about hosting and services: nameservers, mail exchangers, and common web-related records.

What we look for

  • Authoritative nameserver providers and any single points of failure
  • MX records and mail-related SPF/DMARC hints where visible in DNS
  • A/AAAA/CNAME patterns for apex and common subdomains
  • Stale or dangling records that point at decommissioned services

Why it matters

DNS is often the source of truth for where traffic and mail are routed. Misconfigured or stale records are a common path to downtime and takeover.
